Leisure Time Park and Trailer Sales Inc  (Palgrave, Ontario)
"Ok, but probably not visit again"......   Overall, an ok campground, more suited for a one night/need a place for the night type of stay, than a more longer experience. Not much for kids to do other than 2 small playgrounds and a open field. Avoid the washrooms by the entrance and they were not very clean and in need of a major face lift when we visited (last summer). However the other washrooms were very good, although much further away (we actually drove to them, rather than walk). In fact from our camp location everything was a fair bit away. The other major problem is that this is a long term RV park and thus the mobile homes drawfed the campers by a huge margin. On the plus side, the campsites were quite large and could easily fit 2 family tents. Note, there is a Tim Horton's a 2 minute drive from the campground.

Bon Echo Family Campground  (Cloyne, Ontario)
"A beautiful, quiet spot!"......   I had a great time - the place is small and quiet, just the way I want. With some stunning wooded area combined with open sunny areas, you feel like you are in nature, yet its fully services for RVs. Washrooms are clean. The beach and lake is amazing. I'll be back!
"Quiet, peaceful, very clean facilities."

Banff/Waterfowl Lake  (Banff, Alberta)
"Going to for 15+ years"......   This is a campground at the edge of banff park. It is wonderfully located, near upper and lower waterfowl lake and is a wonderful place to stay is very peaceful. The staff are very friendly. Is good for overnight stays, and mostly gets passerbys or long term campers. Offers wonderful views. It however rains almost everynight. So a awning is mostly a must. No-programs offered even though guides state it has nightly programs. No-showers, however you can bathe in the river. I am a local to the area and go here ever summer since i was a baby. Good for experianced campers and passerthrus. Give it a try. Bring umbrella

Happy Hills Family Campground  (Embro, Ontario)
I really like this place. A group of get together once a year and we have a blast. There is so much to do for kids there. We really like to go on the wagon rides, the pool is very clean, the kids splash pad is always fun for the kids. They don't have a beach but the do have a couple of beach volley ball courts. The have a 9 hole golf course on site as well as a mini golf course. They even have a petting zoo. Book early, they book up fast. Firewood is dry, (meaning indoors) bathrooms are clean most of the time but far from the camp sites. Invest in a port-a-potty. It's a long walk after a few ;). The sites are a bit small and close together but the people are friendly and we always have a good time.

Fishermans Cove Tent and Trailer Park  (Kincardine, Ontario)
This is a really nice place to go. Lots of things to do there. They have 2 indoor pools and a beach. Lots of fishing. They do have boat rentals for fishing. The sites are nice, lots of pine trees. (sap) Very nice surondings. The bathrooms are very clean and fairly new. The one thing I feel the need to improve is the fire wood. It's out in the open rain or shine and with our rainy weather over the past couple of years, it's hard to ge a fire going. I never had a bad time here.

Silent Valley Park Ltd  (Ayton, Ontario)
I've been there a few times. I go at least once a year. Good walking trails, clean beach, really nice surroundings. The bathrooms are old but well kept. Fire wood is dry and in a shelter. I like to take the kids fishing there, it's a catch and release fishing pond. The water is clean and clear. Over all this is a really nice place to stay and safe for the kids. One complaint I have is that the sites are not very private. On the other hand, I haven't been to a private campground that the sites were private. I'll continue to go back. This is a nice family campground, if you like to party, go some where else. They will not put up with that and neither will the other campers.

Campers City RV Park  (Moncton, New Brunswick)
"Could Be a Great Place"......   This campground has a great location close to lots of great things to do, it is surrounded by trees and gives you the impression you are nestled away from everything which is great when camping. However the service you receive from the owners or operators is very poor. Camping is not cheap to do and this place will cause it to be even more expensive. They nickle and dime you on everything. Since it is iinside city limits there are no open fires permitted, but they will rent you an approved fire place for $8.50 a night plus $5.50 a bag of wood and they will not let you pick the wood up, they must deliver it when they get to you. Both nights we stayed our children (3 and 6) missed being able to have a fire due to waiting for the wood to be delivered and when I complained about it all I was offered was that they would refund the wood charge and kkep the wood if we didn't want it any longer. I mean come on, this is supposed to be a family experience!! And to top it all off if you like pets there is an extra dollar a day to have them them!! My 2 cents worth.

"fabulous facility for the entire family"......   My wife and I enjoyed our first of hopefully many stays with Holiday Trails. I was sceptical of the membership process but the staff were professional and comfortable. We will be going back again to this site and other Holiday Trails sites.

Camping du Quai  (Riviere-Du-Loup, Québec)
"Beautiful Riverside Camping"......   Had a great time here in early August. Camp ground has a beautiful view of Riviere du Loup and the St. Lawrence River. Very clean. Loved the hot tub and Internet. Excellent value. Really want to come back here. This camp is really under-rated.

Bleriot Ferry Rec Area  (Drumheller, Alberta)
Fine for roughing it. The description says there is swimming. Yes if you can bushwack your way down to the brown water of the Red Deer River. If you want privacy, there are a couple of sites with limited visibility from others. More of a stop for lunch and move on facility.

Dinosaur Trail R.V. Resort  (Drumheller, Alberta)
Best campground in Drumhellar area. If tenting sites 1-8 and 34-40 are great. These have room, trees, are along the outside (no pedestrian traffic)and are near the trails or river. Anything on the inside is a bit open for my taste and exposed. There is a swimming pool, dishwash stations, a couple of bathrooms/showers/ laundry facilities. Very quite, the staff ensures it.Good power/sewer/water sites in lower areas and open areas for frisbee etc.

Natures Hideaway Campground  (Calgary, Alberta)
"Pretty get away from the everyday"......   Being so close to the city yet far enough to have the wilderness close and quite. I have ben going to this camping spot since I was little and I love it, I actually bring my kids now! The Highwood river runs right beside it and the was to the river is short. Also, they have a diving rock that I have been off of many time. They sport a quite little bay of the main river flow that is pretty good for the kids. It does drop off rather quick so you have to go in with them. The only issue that I have is the cost, it has go up big time. It used to be $10 but with the boom in calgary it has managed to go up too $25/night! That is for a small tent lot with no services. Other then that, its well maintianed, good supervision and a nice break from the concreat jungle.
"Great but a bit pricey"

Camping Tadoussac Inc  (Tadoussac, Québec)
"Great for a tent and a wonderful view!"......   We had a spot overlooking the bay; lots of privacy in each area, nice sandy pads. We slept with the screens open and enjoyed morning tea overlooking the bay. Although there were plenty of RVs we did not feel our tent was pitched in a parking lot. Showers etc were not the best, and we had to use quarters to get one. Otherwise a very nice stay - the kind that makes you go back for more camping.

Sunnyside Campground  (Westport, Ontario)
"Sunnyside"......   This is a nice place except for a few things. Its not posted where you can and can't go fishing My husband fell through a dock that was just built and they were upset about it they never asked if he was ok. We had a site reserved and when we got there they had given it to someone else so they stuck us in this site that was pretty much mud and made for something smaller then what we had. If you are up past quiet time which is 11pm make sure you you don't sneeze because they will be around to tell you to be quiet. Our power went out on us twice. We were told by someone who has a seasonal there that if the electrical inspector ever came in they would shut the place down. This is definetly a place where we will not go again. The beaches are beautiful and the other campers are nice. Pleasure Park here we come!

Pigeon Lake Campground  (Westerose, Alberta)
"pigeon lake overall"......   i found that the location , sites, facillities , etc, were supperb. the only 2 things i found which would be nice is to have grass on the power sites, ( at 30$/day), i would like to play games at my site instead of carrying all our toys/games,etc to a grass field up to 1 mile away. 2nd i would like to see the beaches with les rocks for the kids stepping on more sand.
"i would go again"

Pippy Park Trailer Park  (St Johns, Newfoundland)
I had a bad experience at this park with service, i wanted to rent three tent sites together and the managment wanted 100 dollars dammage deposit for each site and refused to give three campsites together, most sites are seasonal and the remainder have no privacy at all, basically an open lot. I would not go back there just for the service i received.

Pleasure Park Campground and RV Resort  (Mallorytown, Ontario)
"Pleasure Park"......   We recently camped here this place is wonderful! Several friends of ours have seasonal sites here and recommended that we try it out. We just bought our trailer so it was our first time camping. We couldn''t have picked a better spot. Everyone is friendly the beach is wonderful the bathrooms and showers are squeaky clean and we even made new friends while here. This is definetly a campground that we will go to again and recommend!

Hammock Harbour RV Park  (Orillia, Ontario)
"Second visit"......   On my first visit I found the operators very friendly and helpful. Other campers also very friendly and the site was great for a small family get away. Washrooms a clean and well kept, camp areas are well layed out and close to washrooms and showers. Area was quite with the exception of the odd siren at night from the highway and the sounds of birds in the early morning (beautiful). For a great getaway just out of town this campground was great. This is why there was a second visit.

Toronto West KOA  (Campbellville, Ontario)
"The basics, at best"......   We've never felt more unwelcome at a campground as we did at this location. They do provide the basics for overnighting, but that's the best we can say about this campground. We were glad we only had to overnight here

Toronto West KOA  (Campbellville, Ontario)
"Not recommended. "......   If you want a barebones camping facility, this is the place to book. On their independent website at http://www.torontowestkoa.on.ca/facilities.html they state "we are constantly working to provide and upgrade the facilities, security and comfort features". They're not even halfway there yet. They advertise WiFi, but it's only available in the main building. There's little for children to do and for adults wanting peace and quiet, you definitely won't find it here! The park is an open field right beside Hwy 401 so you hear the traffic all night long. Management staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming ... definitely not suited to this type of business. There are plenty of other much better campsites in this area.
