Hyclass Ocean Campground  (Havre Boucher, Nova Scotia)
"Medium class at best"......   Medium class at best. Staff was quite disinterested and actually wanted us to wait until she finished her (obviously private) telefone conversation. Campgrounds are nice, playground was not very well maintained, wifi was barely usable. Restrooms were OK.

Mac Leods Beach Campsite  (Inverness, Nova Scotia)
"TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE"......   Camped at this campground this summer with my family and my 12 years old grand daughter who was visiting from Florida. One of the owners of the camp ground must have been having a bad day because we didn't have our camp supplies unloaded from the vehicle and he was in our face, finger pointed and had my grand daughter in tears. This was certainly not called for. We had booked a four day camp stay two months prior for a particular site and called to confirm the reservation a week prior, when we got there it wasn't available. We left the next morning and went else where and the other camp ground staff couldn't do enough for us. MacLeods Beach Campsite is certainly not in any shape or form a favourable representation of our Cape Breton hospitality by a long stretch. Will never go back to that place. So buyer beware!!!!!!

Mac Leods Beach Campsite  (Inverness, Nova Scotia)
"Spend the extra money and go to Ingonish"......   Stayed here a couple of times over the past few years, not a problem. This year finally met one of the owners, a terrible person to deal with. very, very rude and only caters to the seasonal campers. My husband and I are both ex military and the people travelling with us one was an OPP officer from Ontario and I can assure you they were not impressed with the lack of professionalism from the whole MacLeod staff. We felt ashamed that our family and friends had to experience what is far from our Cape Breton hospitality. If you think you have to go there, don't bother making a reservation, it won't be available when you arrive anyway. The camp grounds and facilities are far from nice. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Town and Country Campark  (Sussex, New Brunswick)
Awesome park!! Terrible owners/ management The park owner needs to see hard times period! Nolan Vallery is a total moron, does not care about any of his short or Long term campers ... Needs some education.. Lives next door and takes target practice " boom" boom" boom" all day long with a shot gun..(Riffle)Great way to impress your Campers no .. NEED I SAY MORE.. Not impressed !!!!!!!! If there is 500 sites there ..450 think that He is a #%}^^^#}{.. Just ask anyone!!!!! Great park, terrible owners!!!!!
Highland Pines Campground and RV Sales  (Belwood, Ontario)
If you are a group if people do not stay here as you have to be super quiet which is quite challenging when your a group of thirty I don't think you should have to say shhh all the time no music is allowed we wanted to take out guitars n was told we weren't allowed to what a joke for a campground owner kept doin rounds like we were in prison till the final straw told us to loud n go back to ur own sights or would call cops we will be taking are gathering else were next year wow considering we dumped 700$ there n almost got kicked out for talkin to loud pathetc
Great Woods Park  (Beausejour, Manitoba)
"brutal"......   Boring, porta pottys which havent been cleaned, disgusting, kids got yelled at by the supposed owner, dont normally do this, but dont waste money
Great Woods Park  (Beausejour, Manitoba)
"bad all around"......   website looked good, false, not a friendly place, bathrooms not clean, 2 porta potties for 300 people, showers dirty, garbage in them, owner ron wad also rude and was drinking alcohol, looks are deceiving.
Great Woods Park  (Beausejour, Manitoba)
"dont recomend"......   Camp had dirty bathrooms, no upkeep. Owner ron was not friendly, sites are way to close, no privacy, basic rustic camp, with poor upkeep
Oakhill Pines Campground  (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia)
My family and friends recently stayed at Oakhill Pines Campground for 3 night but will not be going back anytime soon. Management is rude. Not very kid friendly and the bathrooms are gross. Last day of camping my husband went to shower and had sewer come up the shower. But management said it couldn't have happened. Only good thing was it was close to Bridgewater. Would not recommend this campground to anyone!
Leisure Time Park and Trailer Sales Inc  (Palgrave, Ontario)
It was horrible they charged you for everything.I wanna thank Vanessa,Chelsea,Elise,Keaton,Corey. They were great. They were great with my family. They should be credited how hard they work but they are not.The owner pulled me aside and said i was doing to much laundry because someone complained if im there first its first come first serve.they whined about my kids they treated staff awful in front of my children, then they would call a week before money was due harassing for more we stayed two months.Ridiculous You pay when it's due not a week early. The only thing that was good was it was clean they kept it mowed. They charged for extra vehicles and you were not allowed to put a tent on the lot with your camper. They wanted extra money for the third child that's awful. Some people have more than two kids.The. If u have visitors they want to charge u for the car and however many passengers are in the car.Im really upset with the way things were handled not just with us but other families that were there as well.Never again. Thanks again to the people I listed above.I appreciate how you guys treated my kids
Highland Pines Campground and RV Sales  (Belwood, Ontario)
"Worst Customer Service ever!"......   The owner of this park (Nolan Vallery) needs to go to school to learn about customer service. We had a terrible experience at this park. Nolans head is sooo big it wont fit through the door. Stay away not worth the time or the money.
"Owner has no customer experience at all!"
Quintes Isle Campark  (Cherry Valley, Ontario)
"money hunters"......   Huge place, really! Big sites. Nice beach too. Just be aware that there is a row of round rocks before entering the water. We suppose it is to stop erosion. We are angry because when we looked closely at our bill, we noticed that we were charged $5.50 per night over the maximum price written in the Ontario Camping catalogue. After 10 years of camping, this is the first time we encounter this situation. When I went to the office to show the proof, I was told:" Here is a list of our prices sweetie". This is a case of FALSE PUBLICITY! And beware, they charge a $10 fee for reservation. Wifi is not cheap either: $7 per day. Everything is expensive, from the horseback riding to the mini-putt.

Rideau Acres Camping Resort  (Kingston, Ontario)
"very nice place"......   Very nice place, fine beach, many things to do and see, affordable too. We took lots of pictures of the ducks, geeses and peacocks that wander loose on the campground. We found that the sites were quite roomy. Wifi is free but you have to go to the Library to get the service, which we didn't mind (at Quinte's Campark, it would have cost us 7$ per day!). The campground is very close to Kingston and we enjoyed visiting that city very much. As for skunks, on our arrival, we were given instructions on what to do not to attract them. At night, we saw one passing by as well as a rabbit. Nature...
"We plan on going back there."

Travellers RV Resort and Campground  (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
"Loved our stay"......   In July 2013, we stayed in Travellers Resort and Campground. Before booking, we had read the reviews and were cautious, because of some strong negative reviews. We stayed for over a week; and after our stay, we can judge for ourself: the negative reviews were the personal beef of a few; we found our stay comfortable, the staff accomodating and the place well kept. We pull a 35' fifth wheel and had no problem manuveuring around in any part of the park. Some campgrounds use posts to demark the sites; this place uses rocks; no problem. We would return; and recommend this place.
Camp Barcovan Tent and RV Park  (Carrying Place, Ontario)
Website false advertises. No heated pool. Small sites not meant for slide outs.hot tub not running full of algae. No regard for reservations.Gave my site to someone else.loud partying all night.no privacy and tight to your neighbour. Not meant for overnight trailer campers. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Town and Country Campark  (Sussex, New Brunswick)
"Town and country "......   my husband and I stopped at the town and country campground to inquire about seasonal camping and Rv,s that were available for sale within the park. we arrived at 9:50 am and the office door was locked, witha sign that said 10am. I knocked and got no answer. another lady from within the park came along and knocked and the door was opened immediately. after this lady left I made my inquiries about seasonal camping. the lady I was talking to was very curt, rude and unhelpful. I asked if we could go in to look around to see if it was what we were looking for and she replied" only campers are allowed in the campground" I left there shaking my head. I cannot imagine how someone with such a bad attitude towards other people can run a business that should be people friendly. if she is an employee she should be fired and if she is the owner, she should hire someone with people skills
Mountainaire Campground and RV Park  (Nanaimo, British Columbia)
"Paradise!"......   Incredible camprground! We had an amazing time relaxing and hanging out in the forest. Our site backed on to the ravine and exceeded what we were hoping for. The river swimming hole alone is enough reason to try this campground. The washroom facilities were always clean and in excellent condidtion. They have free showers and show a movie outdoors on Friday nights with free popcorn. A great campground for families - our kids loved it - awesome playground too! The owners Val and Ken are very friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

Milton Heights Campground  (Milton, Ontario)
This campground is the worst ever! Run by a very rude lady!
"Never go here"
Bancroft Campground  (Bancroft, Ontario)
"What a Pig Hole"......   This by far has got to be the most disgusting campground around. We have been camping for ten years and I have never seen a more poorly run campground in all my life! The pool definitely needed a facelift, the office smelled disgusting and full of junk, and campgrounds were in terrible shape
Camp Barcovan Tent and RV Park  (Carrying Place, Ontario)
"disgusting park"......   most disgusting park I have been too. Total disregard for reservations made ahead of time, owmer doesn't care just wants your money. Website is totally false advertising. campsites are NOT private.Would never go back or recommend.
Pleasure Park Campground and RV Resort  (Mallorytown, Ontario)
"Owners terrible but campground clean and pretty"......   Although the owners have a wonderful campground with great seasonal campers they are horrid people to deal with. They are noted for yelling at campers, over charging campers for wood, visitors and pump outs. Visitors to park are charged an entry fee then daily fee or overnight fee, very expensive. Campers are given be option for weekly pump outs and charged greatly. If you question a staff they are allowed to yell and disrespect a camper as the example of this behaviour is set by the owners. If you can stay away from owners and concentrate on the social committee events and friends you meet then you will be happy at pleasure park. Also you must have deep pockets because you are charged for everything!!!
"Must be rich to pay all fees and have a deaf ear to owners rants"
Jay Lake Campground and RV Park  (Minden, Ontario)
"New Ownership"......   As of March, 2013 this campground is under new ownership. The new owners, Shirley and Steve McGlennon are super. Curtious, helpful and very accommodating. We stayed there for a week in August and enjoyed every minute.
"I'll be back again next year."
Blue Bird Trailer and Campsite  (Vermilion Bay, Ontario)
Friendly staff, peaceful location, reasonable rates;sites are right on the water
Pine Valley Campground and Cottages  (Stonecliffe, Ontario)
"pine bug valley"......   what an infestation! of bugs! and the biggest bug of them all is the owner! what a pest he was! do not trust these folks! save your cash and go elsewhere. It felt like a prison? a detention centre? the washrooms didn't even use " Charmin Toilet Paper! for crying out loud!", what a fool! all bears use Charmin toilet paper? there is bear scat all over the site!#@&^ what a sorry site that is, go somewhere else please!
South Mountain Park Campground and RV Resort  (Kentville, Nova Scotia)
"New manegment and going down hill quickly"......   Hey heads up to everyone.. Not the same friendly guy running around picking up every little scrap of trash.. Showers and bathrooms used to be amazing now they are dirty and unkept..playground never updated.. Always saying lot rent goin up to ass new activities??? Where r they?? Have been here 5 years and still have t seen any...pool is no lo get sparkling clean.. Still no activities for the kids unless the seasonal campers put sumthing on!! What's up with that?? Paddle boats are in a pond filled with ducks and their droppings, don't let the water splash u in the face.. The famous groovy ride will make u gag with the diesel exhaust blowing in your face... Extremely small lots .. Taking some of the green space away for more seasonal lots.. Fees are high.. Service is low!! Sometimes change is good.. But definitely will not be back here. There is a reason why seasonal campers stay and seasonals go!!! Lots have left and moved on and more going!! Todd where are you??!!!
"Going down hill fast"
Pine Valley Campground and Cottages  (Stonecliffe, Ontario)
"Best little kept secret in the valley"......   Vidito Family Campground and cottages is the best little kept secret in the valley. Very good 2 way service and dump station at a very good price. Some 3 way sites are available. Salt water above ground pool showers and washrooms. New this year is the Apple Wood Café serving great food

Oakhill Pines Campground  (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia)
"So disgusted we just left."......   Attempted to camp here this weekend, reservation was booked and paid for in advance. We were supposed to have a couple of sites off in the wooded area of the campground. When we arrived we were told we couldn't have the sites requested due to previous campers being irresponsible with their fire. Then we were led to a group of sites that were right next to the main buildings and they were flooded from the rain. We were told we could camp here....not likely. The women we were talking to was very rude, I couldn't understand what her issue with us was about. None of us had ever been there before and we deffinatley will not be back! They need to work on their customer service! We received nothing but attitude from the moment we arrived until we left, disgusted!
Rideau Acres Camping Resort  (Kingston, Ontario)
"SKUNKS!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!"......   Avoid this place by all means if you are sleeping in a tent! SKUNKS are crawling at night. It is not like there is only one skunk, but mainly a POPULATION of SKUNKSSSSSS. You can actually see them in action and smell it, especially at night around your picnic table and tent. Apparently we are in a very deep forest (based on employee discussion I had), and I should expect to see SKUNKS. The problem here is not the fact that I should expect SKUNKS, but the fact that they are entirely aware of the issue and not even telling you about it, due to the bad publicity it would bring. Whenever I go to any campgrounds and there is racoons or bears, campground are telling us to be careful. They should do the same and advertise to be careful. Beside being mean and disrespectful, managers of this campground along to employees should be avoided, since they are basically sending people to sleep in tents right next to where SKUNKS are having their midnight snacks. Go anywhere else, but not at this particular campground.
"SKUNKS!"
Jay Lake Campground and RV Park  (Minden, Ontario)
"Falcon campground "......   Great site and services. Treated disrespectfully, sitting around the fire making small talk and were approached saying we've been told a second time to be quiet which was an absolute lie. Non of our friends were intoxicated, yet we had to wait till 5am to drive home. We had to sleep in our vehicles from 2- 5 am followed by a breathilisor. Pretty much target those between the ages of 20-30. If you're in bed by 10pm you're safe... Past 11pm they'll do anything to have your fire put out and have you in your bed sleeping. Maybe the province should have a more secluded area for ppl who stay up past 11pm and want to enjoy a fire with family.
"Falcon conservation is disrespectful."
Jay Lake Campground and RV Park  (Minden, Ontario)
"Great Campground now under new management"......   Spent a week here with my family. The new owners are great. Facilities are all improved, very clean. Beautiful RV sites as well as wilderness camping. Don't let the prior reviews fool you. Call or go the new website and see for yourself.
