River Grove Campground and Cabins  (Drumheller, Alberta)
"highly recommended!"......   My son & I camped here in Aug/08 & found it to be clean, quiet & safe! The playground is nice & my son loved the bunnies that roam throughout the campground! Washrooms were very clean & well maintained. Our tent site was a little small & they had attempted to put down sod but it wasnt taking well - but we really didnt spend alot of time at our site so it did not detract from our experience there! Staff were polite & helpful. All around great place - walking distance to the huge T-rex & waterpark & short drive to the Royal Tyrell Museum.
North Ghost Campground  (Cochrane, Alberta)
"August long weekend we went camping at ghostlake and had a good time and would go back again."......
Knights Beach Resort  (Dunnville, Ontario)
"***overpriced, crowded, dirty****"......   will never visit this campsite again, aside from poor maintenance of the facility, the washroom was not usable...
Knights Beach Resort  (Dunnville, Ontario)
"***NEVER GO TO THIS CAMPSITE***"......   we spend 2n/3d, first thing noticed how dirty and messy the place was, especially the washroom. Informed the site mgr several times the condition of the washroom***the most disgusting site***, the camp area was very crowded, mud everywhere....don't think it rain that weekend, they just didn't have the proper drainage.

"No Refunds, Unfriendly, Greedy"......   Money Grab. They have an unwritten No refund policy- If you have paid in for a week and you have decided to move on to a different location after a few days- They will not refund you the remaining days- regardless of any reason. There is a $7.00 reservation fee that is not mentioned when reserving over the phone- and you are actually talking to the campground owner! If you cancel the reservation- within 48 hrs- you will lose one nights camping fees- (understandable) but they will also charge you for the length of stay you were reserved for regardless- no exceptions- This is CRIMINAL. Sites are extremely overpriced and extremely small.- awnings would touch the RV next to you. The only campground in NS that charges an additional $1.00/ night recycling fee- another fee added to the already overpriced fee. If you arrive earlier than the 1pm check in time they will charge you $3.00/ hr untill 1pm is reached. The campground is on an open field, the so called oversized sites - for bus RVs- will cost $100/ night- this would be considered a normal sized site at most campgrounds. Most campgrounds charge around $29 to $31 for this type of site. For kids, they charge $9.00/ hr for playing pool. Basically a nickel and dime you to death campground. There are many nicer campgrounds in this location and higly recommend to anyone NOT to stay here.
Cape Croker Indian Park  (Wiarton, Ontario)
"beautifully situated place"......
Pittock Conservation Area  (Woodstock, Ontario)
We had a great time at this park. Very nice stay.
Spring Creek Mountain Village  (Canmore, Alberta)
"Good Campsite"......   Located right in Canmore, this is a fairly decent campground. The office building is new and there is a lot of construction going on - but away from the camping sites. The sites are fine - we had one on a small stream, which was great for the kids - but there was no playgound or anything else to keep the kids occupied. There is a railway track just on the other side of the stream, but a high wooden fence has recently been erected to reduce the noise. The washrooms are OK - nothing special but clean enough to use.
Wild Rose RV Park  (Hope, British Columbia)
"I enjoyed my 5 day stay here ! "......   Very nice people. Super clean Washrooms!!!
Monck Park  (Kamloops, British Columbia)
"Beautiful Campground"......   Have been going here for years. Good fishing and overall great family campground. Wish they had showers!
Five Islands Ocean Resort and RV Campground  (Lower Five Islands, Nova Scotia)
my boyfriend, dad and I stayed at this provincial park, and thought it was a wonderful, private campground. The people were really friendly not like other campgrounds in the area.It was really relaxing, the atmospere was wonderful, there wasn't any four wheelers and golf carts going by watching your every move.We had a tent and screen tent on our site, and there was still plenty of room for another tent plus your vehicle not like other campgrounds in the area which are so crowded your lucky to have enough room for one tent and vehicle. If your looking for a wonderful, quiet camping experience this is the place to stay.
Blairton Trailer Park  (Havelock, Ontario)
"Great Park, Great Owners, Perfect Family Park"......   Owners are great, Campers are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Kid will have a lot of fun.
Dutrisac Cottages and Camping  (Sturgeon Falls, Ontario)
"Life is great at Dutrisac Cottages"......   For the past 30 years, my family has been holding annual reunions at Dutrisac cottages in Sturgeon Falls, ON on Lake Nipissing. The staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful. The cottages are clean with all the amenities of a home; even towels are provided. For those who are tenting, bathrooms & shower facilities are conveniently located. Boats are available on a daily or weekly basis. Each site has power, picnic tables, water & fire pit. Yes, they do allow pets on a leash. Hey!! bring your laptop; they have free wireless connections. The reason I rated recreation facilities as Good instead of excellent, is because if you want to party in a bar, you have to drive 5 minutes away into Sturgeon Falls. But, they often have live entertainment on Saturday evenings at the Pit. It's at the back of the grounds so no one gets disturb if that's not your thing. Believe me, everything else is Excellent! For current information & rates, go to http://www.dutrisac.ca Thanks Mike & Bruno for having us. We're coming back.
"Dutrisac cottages is the best!!!"
Beaverview RV Park and Campground  (McBride, British Columbia)
"The mos tbeautiful campground we have stayed in"......   We visited this campground in June 2008. It is a beautiful place in a wonderful setting with the mountains all around. All the sites are on grass and wonderfully maintained by the owners Dave & Jill. The washrooms are immaculatly clean and there is plenty of hot water for the free showers. McBride is a delightful town adn well worth a visit.
"Spectacular setting, very well maintained and clean. Very welcoming hosts"
Campers Cove  (Wheatley, Ontario)
"Campers Cove........."......   Campers Cove is a great spot for the kids, teens and adults! they have weekend event's that can be alot of fun, bingo, dances and much more. their are several play grounds and even cabins. There is lots or forest land for hiking and a nice "shelter". the shelter has a rec room, food, ice cream, slushies and the essentials for camping... EX. Marshmallows. The only problem I have found is the not so friendly owners and their not so friendly kids. But if you manage to stay out of their way it's a great place to go and have some fun. P.S. their is a private beach with so not so fresh water, but it's still good for sun tanning!
Kokanee Creek Campground  (Nelson, British Columbia)
Wsa there last year and going back this year.
Kootenay/Red Streak Campground  (Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia)
Close to Radium a good base to see the park and hot springs.
Victoria Park Campground  (Souris, Manitoba)
"The best in our area."......
Tobermory Village Campground  (Tobermory, Ontario)
"OK, but id never camp there again"......   was there for 1 week cleen famly run but not much for the kids to do and when we were sitting by the campfire the sone came around & told us to stop talking and that the tv in my rv had to be turned off all you saw is the light from the tv my son wont sleep if its not on...and the lot i got was verry uneaven and sandy.oh ya there is year round campers there and thay made more noise than any one elce . coming & going late at night.. doors slaming what we all found funny thay wer sushing us"""we went camping with frends.. al n all ok for over night but i will never go there agane....
Jacks Pond Park  (Arnold's Cove, Newfoundland)
"May 24 weekend"......   it was a wonderful weekend. Loved the grounds. Lots of things for the children to do. Looking forward to our next trip. Thinking on a seasonal site.
Yogi Bears Jellystone Park and Camp-resort  (Bradford, Ontario)
"Fun to stay at!!!!"......   Fun Fun Fun My son looks forward to going been ther 3 times frendly staff and gave my son a extra hay ride last year because of no room in the first two rides. He is special needs child and he lives going to this park.....
Oasis RV Campground  (Osoyoos, British Columbia)
VERY GOOD!!
Toronto West KOA  (Campbellville, Ontario)
"ONLY OK"......   I was a camper at KOA and I belive that the cabins need to have bathrooms in them for family's that have children because I have a 4 year old and if they wake up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom then I have to get up and take them to it. This is very inconvient. Also the two playgrounds are ready to fall apart
"The camp needs to be very much upgraded"
Cedar Shade Campground  (Alfred, Ontario)
This is a great campground for the hole family to enjoy, would recomend to anyone this summer. Cheers, Eric
Camping Riv-o-Pom  (Neuville, Québec)
We thought it was a sensible camping area
"good"
London 401 KOA  (London, Ontario)
"Would not return to this campground - extremely poor service"......
Albion Hills Campground  (Palgrave, Ontario)
not very natury, more like a picnic area. Not enough trees and forested area on campground, although there is a very nice forest not for tent areas. Depends what you're looking for
Camping Gregoire  (Lacolle, Québec)
"Recommended to ALL"......   Me and my familly went to Camping Gregoire last summer (2007). We arrived on the Friday, in order to go to Parc Safari on the Saturday. It was a short drive away, and the service was excellent. The washrooms could need a little improvement, however, it's a campground not a Holiday INN. Maintenance with sand and debris is not always obvious. I would recommend this campground to anyone and I am considering returning this summer for a longer stay.
Cyprus Lake Campground Office  (Tobermory, Ontario)
Beautiful campground! Great for hiking. Grotto and flowerpot island great to see. No showers but showers are on the main road, 5 min drive. Close to Tobermory for tourist attractions. Recommend the ferry to view island and shipwreck.
